After 40 years in ministry, Global Action founder Dr. Lars Dunberg felt God was leading him into a new area of service. Having served with such organizations as the Salvation Army, Youth for Christ, the Swedish Covenant Church, and the International Bible Society, Lars had visited virtually every corner of the globe. Wherever he went he noticed gaps in meeting local needs.

In 1998, God placed the idea of Global Action on his heart, calling him to respond to the
Great Commission by filling gaps in worldwide needs, building partnerships and challenging believers to become risk-takers for God, impacting their world for Jesus Christ.

Since then, God has transformed Global Action from a small idea into a dynamic,
gap-filling ministry, active in more than 70 nations. God has blessed us with the support of countless partners and friends, including dedicated national co-workers worldwide. This ministry reflects the love and concern of believers across the globe whose prayerful, practical interest and investment result in us seeing God at work in amazing and encouraging ways.
